Ashley Abieyuwa Okunseri, MSN, CNM, WHNP-NP is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019, she went on to practice in a variety of nursing specialties, including progressive care unit, surgical trauma, and acute cardiac care. Most of Ashley's nursing experience was gained as a travel nurse before going on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing in 2023 at Georgetown University. During her clinical training as a student nurse midwife/nurse practitioner, Ashley was able to care for patients with varying complexities in both Texas and Georgia.
She has a true passion for individualizing care to her patients while still providing safe and holistic care. Ashley hopes to empower her patients through knowledge and advocacy. Ashley's collaborative approach to health care often allows her patients to feel comfortable and confident that their plan of care will exceed their expectations. Her commitment to her patients extends beyond pregnancy care; Ashley also pays great attention to caring for those experiencing abnormal uterine or needing contraception and preconception.
Ashley grew up in South Florida and this stems from her love of going to the beach when she's outside of work. She also enjoys traveling, trying new food, and spending time with her friends and family.
